Kala Bagh Dam vs Indian Dams

Pakistan Energy Crises is now on its Peak.Pakistan total Installed Electricity Generation Capacity is 22000 MW and Pakistan now facing 3500 MW shortfall.Govt Focuses on the Import of Electricity Such as Tapi,LNG Projects.Govt Has Initiated many Projects such as thermal and Coal Power Projects.Govt is Ignoring the Cheapest form of Electricity which is Hydro  Power Projects.After Indus Water Treaty in 1960 Pakistan Build two Major Dams which are Mangla and Tarbela Dam.Mangla Dam Construction start in 1962 and it start working in 21 February 1967. Terbela Dam Construction Starts in 1968 and it start working in 1976.After that No Big Dam was Constructed.The Preliminary feasibility study of Kala Bagh Dam was done in 1956.Then in 1977 Wapda start Feasibility Study of Kala Bagh Dam.According to Dr Shams-ul-mulk KalaBagh Dam Must be Build in 1991 but It was not done.He also stated that when he address to the Sindh Cabinet if All Provinces did not agree on Kala Bagh Dam then in 21 century All Provinces will Face a Serious Shortfall of Water.He also Said that US China India are Now Economically very Sound because US build 6500 Dams,China build 22000 Dams and India Build 4500 Dams.

The Council of Common Interest of Pakistan has Approved This Kala Bagh Dam Project in 1991 and 1998 but At That Time Govt Take No Serious Step To Construct This Dam.Every Govt Play Politics on Kala Bagh Dam and Provide a Substantial Time to the Puppet of Enemies to make this Project Controversial.In December 2005 Former President Pervaiz Musharaf Announced that He will construct the Dam in the Larger interest of Pakistan but He also Fails to Implement it.On November 2012 Lahore High Court order the Construction of Kala Bagh Dam on the decision of CCI of Pakistan in November 16 1991.The Machinery for Construction of Kala Bagh Installed in 1984 in General Zia ul Haq tenure but later on The Matter Politicized by ANP which was unhappy on Afghan War.Later on PPP, JIYE Sindh Mahaz,Jusqam,MQM oppose the Construction of Kala Bagh Dam with the Illogical Arguments.Machinery is Installed from 32 Years. Feasibility Report Already done.Dr Shams ul mulk is Also a KPK Resident why he Support Kala Bagh Because he Know that The Political Parties who oppose Kala Bagh Dam Have no Concern on Indian Dams.They did not say a single word against Indian Dams which are constructed on Pakistani Rivers which is a clear Violation of Indus Water Treaty. Syed Jammat Ali Shah The former Permanent Indus water Commissioner give a Cushin to the Indian Govt in 2007 to 2009 that he will remain Silent and will not Raise any Objections on Indians Dams.Jammat Ali Shah wasted 13 Years in Friutless Talks with Their Indian Counterpart before moving to World Bank.India Argued in International Court of Arbitration that Pakistan did not Store Water & Wasted 6 to 7 Million Cussik Flood Water Every Year so now it is India Right to Construct Dams on Pakistani River Save Water.

                                               

This the Image of Baglihar Dam which is Constructed in state of Jammu and Kashmir on Chenab River.India Started Construction of Baglihar Dam in 1999 and it was opened in October 10 2008.India is a Lucky Country That they did not have the Political Parties like ANP,PPP,MQM.The Construction Of Baglihar Dam Deprive Pakistan 321,000 acre feet of Water in Rabi Season.Due to this India get the Remote of Water Bomb.Now it is India Discretion that He Release Water or not. According To Indus Water Treaty Agreement Chenab,Indus and Jehlum was given to Pakistan and India Has no Right to Construct Any Dam on Pakistani Rivers.Baglihar Dam was Constructed on Chenab River Which is Clear Violation Of Indus Water Treaty Agreement.It was the serious Negligence of Govt of Pakistan that he Fail to stop India because India has No Right to use a single drop of Pakistani River. 

This is the Image of Kishanganga Dam.The Construction of this Dam began in 2007.It is Project of 330 MW.This Dam Project Was Designed to Divert water from Neelum River to a power plant in the jehlum River basin. Kishanganga Dam will change the course of river neelum around 100 km.Pakistan Neelum Valley is likely to Dry up and become Desert.The Diversion is clear violation of Indus Water Treaty Agreement.The Diversion will Reduce the Flow of Water into Pakistan.Pakistan Neelum Valley will face 2000 cusecs of water Shortage due to Kishinganga Dam Project.International Court of Arbitration (ICA ) allows India to Construct Kishangana Dam and it also ordered India to Provide Half of Dam Water to Pakistan.India is a Country who did not follow any Law.so there is nobody which can stop india to build Dams on Pakistan River and make any changes in Pakistani River. 

This is the Image of Sardar Sarovar Dam It is also Known as Narmada Dam.It was build on Narmada River in Gujarat.This Dam Gives Benefits to 4 Major Indian States which are Gujarat,Madhya Pradesh,Maharashtra and Rajastan. The Dam Height is 163 Meters and have a Length of  1210 Meters.It has the Capacity to 7,701,775 acre feet and it can Generate 1450 MW Electricity.The Construction of this Dam started in June 2006. This Dam was Same like Kala Bagh.This Dam Face so much Controversies but in the End India finally start this Project and now it is Operational and Indian Govt is going to Raise the Height of the Dam.This the Main Difference Between Pakistan and India.Indian Political Parties are Sincere and loyal to their Country.They did not Compromise on Economic Growth and on Any National Interest Issue.While Pakistan Political Parties are Loyal to Corruption and Make every National Issue Controversial.

Dr Shamsul Mulk Said that Do not Play Politics with Water because Water is Life.If You do not Save Water Today Then Drought will be the Future of Your Upcoming  Generation.To Waste Water Without Any Use Is a Sin.USA, China,India Building Big Dams and They Raised Their water Storage Capacity.Now Pakistan has only 30 days water storage Capacity Which is Against Minimum Requirement of 120 days.Many Developed Countries have 1-2 Year Water Storage Capacity.INDIA has the Capacity to store Water for 120-220 days.Egypt has 1000 days Water Storage Capacity.USA has 900 Days Water Storage Capacity.Australia Has 600 Days water storage Capacity. South Africa Has 500 Days Water Storage Capacity. Water Shortage in Pakistan will Increase to 31%. in 2025.If Pakistan did not wake up then India will stop the Water of Pakistani Rivers.Its on the People of Pakistan That They  Chose which option A Desert Pakistan or A Progressive Pakistan Because India Chose its Way which is to Build as many Dams as Possible to stop Pakistan Rivers Water.Build Kala Bagh Dam to Save Water.Now The Water Bomb Remote is in India's  Hand.
