Thailand have a great History.People from Southern China Migrated to Thailand from 10th to 13 Centuries.Before That Thailand was Run by Khmers.Khmers was the People who belong to Cambodia.Thailand was divided into many small states and These States are known as Meuang.These Small states was United in 13th Century by a King Sukhothai.It was known as First united Thai Kingdom.This Kingdom Sustain only for 1 Century and This Kingdom Fall in 14th Century.It was Replaced by Ayuthaya Kingdom in late 14th Century. After That Portuguese,Dutch,British and French Put Their Eyes on Thailand.IN 1675 French were Allowed to deploy their Soldiers in Thailand.However in 1688 French were Expelled from Thailand.IN 1765 Burma (Myanmar) Attack on Thailand and in 1767 Burma Defeat Ayuthaya Kingdom and Capture the Capital of Thailand.The Resistance Continue by Thai Peoples against Burmese Forces.After That A Strong Thai Military Leader Phraya Taskin Start Resistance against Burmese Forces and He Successfully Defeat Burmese Forces and Phraya Taskin Regain the All the Territory from Burmese Forces.IN 1769 General Phraya Taskin become King and he made a New Capital at Thaburi Thailand.After Phraya Taskin IN 1782 Rama 1 Become the King and He made Bangkok as Capital of Thailand.IN 1851 Rama 4 become King He Allowed British.He also Sign Many Agreements with Those Countries who Put Eyes on Thailand.He also Focus on Study of Science.IN 1909 British Sign Treaty with Thailand to define Border between Thailand and British Malaya.British and French decided not to Colonies Thailand and Thailand will be a Neutral Territory between British and French.IN July 1917 Thailand Participate in World War 1 from Allied Forces.After Victory of Allied Forces Thailand said That All Previous Treaties should be Repealed and World should Recognize Thailand Sovereignty.US Accept it in 1920 and British and France Postpone it till 1925.ON 24 June 1932 Through Revolution Thailand Convert from Absolute Monarchy to Constitutional Monarchy.IN January 1941 French Thai War Started and Thailand Capture Laos.Japan Play the Role of Mediator in French Thai War and Peace Treaty was Sign in Tokyo.ON 8 December 1941 Japan Demand from Thailand to give way to Japanese Troops to Attack on British Malaya.On 21 December 1941 Japan Sign Military Alliance with Thailand.ON 25 January 1942 Thailand was Occupied by Japan in World War 2 and Japan have so much Influence in Thailand Government.Thailand who was an Ally of Allied Forces in World War 1 become Ally of Japan in World War 2 and It declared War Against USA and British.After Japan Defeat in World War 2 British and US Observers and Troops Landed in Thailand.IN 1946 Thailand Signed Peace Agreements with British and France and After That Thailand become Member of UN in 1946.After That Thailand Face So Many Problems and Challenges and Now Thailand Convert from Agricultural Country to a Developed Industrialized Country.Now Thailand Total Population is 67 Million.

Thailand shares Borders with Laos,Cambodia and Myanmar so Its Culture is a Mixture of all its Neighboring Countries as Cambodia and Myanmar Rule over Thailand for Short Time.Thailand Consist of Four Different Regions and Every Region have its own Culture.Thailand is a Buddhist State and Many Traditions and Principles which People Follow are the Traditions and Principles of Buddhism.Thai Culture Varies with Ethnic Make up as Thais are the 75% of Population and Chinese are 14% of Population and 11% are Different Groups such as Vietnamese,Khmer,Hmong and Mein.
